News|Fascinating photography on show in AberdeenThe venue is currently hosting a display of work by the photographer Archie Strachan, which will be open until April 3rd. Strachan was commissioned by the city council, industry groups and other organisations during his career, allowing him to develop an extensive portfolio of images of Aberdeen. The Maritime Museum exhibition offers an insight into the eclecticism and importance of the photographer's work. Visitors will also be able to learn about some of the major changes that were experienced in Aberdeen in the 1950s and 60s through the city scenes in the display. Aberdeen hotel guests will have the chance to visit several exhibitions this year, including a showcase of modern and contemporary jewellery that studies the art form from the 1970s up to the present day.
