Birmingham hotel guests will be able to gain some inspiration for future holidays by paying a visit to the NEC next month.

From March 5th to 7th, the venue will host Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show.

Billed as the most popular event of its kind in the UK, the fair aims to provide information, advice and guidance for people planning all sorts of trips, from adventurous holidays to career breaks.

One of the highlights of the show is the 'meet the experts' section, where writers, photographers, explorers and other knowledgeable figures are on hand to speak about their experiences and offer tips to visitors.

The event will also feature a talk by zoologist and BBC television presenter Mark Cawardine, among others.

Birmingham hotel guests who are more interested in looking to the past than planning future getaways can visit the NEC on March 27th or 28th to attend the Memorabilia Show, which is popular among collectors and fans of television, film, comics and games.
