It boasts an innovative layout and design that encourages browsers to sit on steps, walk under archways and explore alcoves, all of which are part of the exhibition. Visitors will be given the unique opportunity to step into a 17th century painting, eavesdrop on a conversation once held by Albert Einstein or try to squeeze into a chair in the shape of a 19th century corset. Another exhibition being held at Birmingham Museum this year is How Art is Made, which looks at the various crafts and sciences behind the creation of paintings, drawings, pottery, etchings and jewellery.
