News|Leonardo da Vinci drawings excite Birmingham hotel guestsIt is the first time that a venue in the UK has exhibited the works, which have been selected to depict the wide range of subjects which fascinated the Renaissance genius. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to gaze upon the wonderfully delicate works, which reveal the huge scope of the Italian master's work through his extensively annotated images. Many of Leonardo's greatest projects were never finished so excluding a handful of paintings, the drawings which survive to this day are some of the most important sources in tracing the artist's genius. Subjects featured in the exhibition include chariots, the head of Leda, oak leaves and an old man in profile.
