X Factor stars One Direction are finally stepping out of the shadows of the show and heading off for their first headline tour which will see them head past Birmingham hotels on their way to the NIA.

Since coming third in last year's X Factor the band have had a rollercoaster time, touring with the other finalists before recording their first album.

After their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful' rocketed to the top of the iTunes charts despite only being on sale for 15 minutes, it was clear that they were not the average runners-up.

For their first tour the Irish-British boy band will take in 21 dates, as Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis arrive at the National Indoor Arena for what will surely be an epic performance.

One Direction perform at the NIA in Birmingham on Wednesday January 4th.

Tickets cost £19.50 and £27.50 and doors open at 7.30pm
