Today it has been hailed as one of the most technologically advanced in Europe. The Brighton Sea Life Centre is home to over 150 different species of marine life and has a total of 57 displays. Among the popular attractions is the 150 foot long underwater tunnel which is one of the longest in Europe. Watch in amazement as deadly sharks and lumbering turtles glide effortlessly around you. Visitors can also experience the beauty of tropical marine life at the Tropical Reef. A model of a coral reef is on display here, together with many colourful varieties of fish and marine plant life. The display is complete with a shark infested shipwreck that is sure to make your heart beat faster! The underwater adventure does not end there, a new addition to the Brighton Sea Life Centre is the Victorian Explorer, which allows visitors to explore the depths of the ocean by submarine and even walk on the sea bed exploring for undiscovered sea creatures. Visitors can find an impressive display of marine life that ranges from Sea Horses to the notorious Piranhas which can all be seen here. This exciting and historic aquarium is definitely a must see attraction in Brighton. |
