News|New Korean Air route to Seoul bring travellers to Gatwick hotelsHaving announced the new flights in January, the airline is to begin running three weekly flights from Gatwick to Seoul on April 29th. Some 225 passengers will be able to take advantage of the new route each time Korean Air flies, with the Boeing 777 aeroplane being deployed for the journey. Welcoming Korean Air to Gatwick, the airport's chief commercial officer Guy Stephenson said he was "very excited" they had chosen the London terminal. "We will work in partnership with Korean Air to help make this route a success and look forward to building a strong, long-term relationship with them," he said. Those taking the route will also be able to travel to Australia and New Zealand with Korean Air, through connecting flights from Seoul to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.
