News|Plymouth Theatre Royal presents Singin' in the RainPlymouth hotel visitors looking for some uplifting entertainment will be able to see the show from August 25th to 29th. The musical is being brought to the stage by the producers of smash hit touring productions including 42nd Street, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and South Pacific. Tim Flavin, an Olivier Award-winning West End and Broadway performer, plays the role of Don Lockwood in Singin' in the Rain, the part that was made famous by Gene Kelly in the original movie. Audiences will be entertained by a host of comedy and dance routines, not to mention musical numbers such as Good Morning, Make 'em Laugh and the title song. Another big musical production, Chicago, will come to the Plymouth Theatre Royal from August 10th to 22nd, with Gary Wilmot and Emma Barton in two of the lead roles.
