The 2012 European Figure Skating Championships are coming to England in January as spectators head to Sheffield hotels to get a slice of the action.

With all eyes in the sporting world on England ahead of the Olympic Games next year, the Figure Skating Championships at the Metropoint Arena in Sheffield mark the first big sporting event of the year's calendar.

It is the first time in more than 20 years that the ISU Championships are coming to England, following the successful bid by Sheffield.

The thrilling Championships are the third biggest in the world and audiences will be treated to the stunning abilities of almost 200 skaters from 40 different countries as many Olympic competitors head to Sheffield.

The European Figure Skating Championships 2012 are held at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield from Monday January 23rd until Sunday 29th.

Tickets to see the men, ladies, pairs and dance couples are all available, with prices starting at £10.
