Sheffield’s newest four star hotel is celebrating having been shortlisted for a prestigious regional industry award. The Copthorne Hotel Sheffield has received a shortlisting in the Best New Venue category in The Insider Business Tourism Awards – Destination Yorkshire 2010.

The 158 room hotel, which opened in January 2009, has quickly established itself as an integral part of the business and leisure sector both locally and regionally, as well as nationally as part of the Millennium Copthorne Hotels group.

Within the hotel’s first year of opening it has developed an excellent reputation for providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, in 2009 the hotel achieved an AA Rosette with an AA merit of 79 per cent.
