Slough hotel visitors will be provided with a variety of activities to keep the whole family entertained this September at the canal festival.

This event will be held at Bloom Park in Langley, Slough on the weekend of September 13th-14th.

The free festival, organised by Slough Borough Council, will include boat trips, arts and crafts fairs, canal fishing, pony rides and healthy walks.

Kids will also be kept entertained with a range of activities and entertainment, including the opportunity to meet the official Dulux dog on Sunday.

Another event being held in Slough this summer will bring music and dance to the town's Upton Court Park on August 3rd, with performers including Jools Holland and his 18-piece rhythm and blues orchestra.

The popular pianist will be joined by special guests including Marc Almond, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, as well as the Magic of Motown group.
