A brilliantly funny play by the late great playwright Mike Stott is coming to the Theatre Royal, giving Windsor hotel guests the chance to see Funny Peculiar performed on stage once again.

When Trevor Tinsley, the family grocer of a little town with a loving wife and new-born child develops a taste for the free loving lifestyle he is led into the arms of his unfortunate neighbour's wife.

As Trevor is led astray, comic adventures ensue as his strait-laced community peer through the curtains at his misdemeanours and his staid and serious wife is provoked into a startling reaction.

Considered by some to be Stott's crowning glory, Funny Peculiar is a brilliant example of the way in which the playwright captures the quirky side to 'ordinary life'.

This production features an all-star cast of British soap opera actors, including Craig Gazey, Coronation Street's Graeme Proctor, Suzanne Shaw from Emmerdale, British Soap Award-winner Gemma Bissix of Hollyoaks fame and another Coronation Street star, Vicky Entwhistle.

Funny Peculiar runs at the Windsor Theatre Royal from January 24th until February 4th. Tickets are priced between £11 and £31.50.
