Bugis Street Restaurant
Kensington London provides guests with tantalising Singaporean, Malaysian and Cantonese
Cuisine sure to please the most discerning palette. This restaurant is also located on the ground
floor of the hotel.
The restaurant opened at the Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington in September 2006,
following on from the success of the first Bugis Street opened at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel
years before.
Bugis Street’s kitchen is led by Chef Kok San Wong, who has been in his profession for over 20 years. He has worked in several hotel restaurants and resorts in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia as well as in cruise ships around the world. House specialities include: Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng, fish fillets stir-fry with black pepper sauce and Singapore Laksa. The restaurant is also available for private functions up to 40 people.
