Earls Court and Olympia are two famous exhibition halls in London that are used for a variety of diverse purposes ranging from musical performances to horse riding.

Olympia originally opened on Boxing Day to showcase a circus. Since its inception this venue has grown to go beyond simple shows and is now used for musical performances featuring world famous artists, major corporation meetings and seminars as well as staff parties. The centre has become a popular venue due to its top class facilities and support staff.Other events that have taken place here include yoga exhibitions, snowboarding shows, concerts and horse riding. This was the premiere event venue in the area until the construction of Earl’s Court.

Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre is mainly used for musical performances and has the capacity to hold up to 19,000 visitors. Beginning with humble origins as a derelict area, came to prominence as a mass transit point once the railway line in the area passed through it.

After being exchanged through the hands of several owners it was decided that a rival would be created to the nearby Olympia Exhibition Centre. It was for this reason that the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre was eventually created. The centre comprises of two structures as a second building known as Earl’s Court Two was constructed to meet additional demands.

Besides musical performances Earl’s Court has also been used for some WWE Insurrextion pay per view events.

Together both venues have played host to an impressive range of famous musical artists. Olympia has hosted Paul McCartney, the Spice Girls, Madonna, Westlife and Metallica while Earl’s Court has hosted Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Celine Dion, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Queen, and U2.

Both these venues located in London have together hosted some of the grandest performances and events in the city of London and they will continue to do so in the future as well.
