Football fans will be making Chelsea hotel arrangements soon following the release of the fixture list for the 2008-09 season.

The Blues will begin their attempt to win back the Premier League title with a home game against Hull City on August 15th before travelling to Sunderland on August 18th.

Newly promoted Burnley will face a tough test when they travel to Stamford Bridge on August 29th, while Tottenham Hotspur will visit the stadium for a London derby on September 19th.

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester United will begin their title defence against Birmingham City, another promoted side, on August 15th.

Two weeks later, Old Trafford will play host to one of the stand-out fixtures of the Premier League season when Arsenal travel to Manchester to take on the Red Devils.

Other key matches in the first half of the season will include Chelsea's game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on October 3rd and Manchester United's visit to Anfield to face Liverpool on October 24th.
