News|Experience the Big Bang in GlasgowVisitors to Glasgow will be offered a small glimpse into some of the mysteries of the universe at a new exhibition being launched this month. The Big Bang Exhibition will be open for Glasgow hotel visitors to explore at the city's Science Centre between March 15th and August 30th this year. There are few topics more difficult to explore than the universe but this display will make an attempt at offering a new and accessible perspective on space and its constant expansion. A number of issues will be covered by the show, including particles and why they have mass and what the unknown 95 per cent of our universe might be made of. Visitors to the Glasgow Science Centre over the coming months will also be able to enjoy screenings of new fantasy film The Spiderwick Chronicles on a giant Imax screen. This movie, which stars Freddie Highmore and Nick Nolte, among others, will be on show at the Science Centre from March 21st to May 21st. |
