News|Scotland to host Snowdrop FestivalScotland will host its popular Snowdrop Festival between February 1st and March 16th this year, which sees themed gardens set up across the country for the entertainment of visitors. Glasgow hotel visitors will be particularly well placed to enjoy the event, with gardens being created at the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve and Ardgowan. Festival-goers will be able to experience a walk through the Scottish winter countryside and enjoy a cup of tea in the nation's oldest country houses, stately homes and estates. Some of the establishments that will be taking part will open exclusively for the Snowdrop Festival. Other features of the specially themed gardens will include white stone statues and carpets of snowdrops for visitors to walk along. Dark Sky stargazing nights will be held at various locations during the festival, which will
incorporate a number of indoor and outdoor activities, including planetarium shows, comet making
and rocket launching.
