Glasgow will be celebrating the richness and diversity of the world and all its cultures next month when it hosts the World Sufi festival.

Sufism is a way of life that encourages respect for all religions and ways of life, crossing geographical, social and cultural boundaries and playing a part in the lives of people all over the world.

Glasgow hotel visitors can find the World Sufi festival at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre on February 24th.

There they will be able to explore the bazaar, sample the food and visit traditional stands displaying items representative of many countries.

Art will also be on display and there will be performances of music, dance and poetry.

February also sees Glasgow hosting its film festival, which will have a particular focus on Hollywood silver screen star Bette Davis.
