London hotel visitors who fancy a theatre trip in May might want to check out That Face, a new play at the Duke of York's Theatre.

This award-winning production will be in London for ten weeks only from May 1st and, based on the reviews it has received, is a spectacle not to be missed.

The Observer described the play as "explosive and gobsmacking", while the Daily Telegraph said it was "a remarkable and unforgettable piece of theatre".

That Face is the first piece of theatre written by Polly Stenham, who wrote the play when she was only 19 and went on to receive awards from the Evening Standard and the Critics Circle.

It portrays an affluent family in deterioration – a daughter at boarding school with free access to drugs, a son who has dropped out of school and turned to alcohol and a mother whose vices are the reason behind her children going off the rails.

The cast of the show have been nominated for an Olivier Award for outstanding achievement in affiliate theatre, while Stenham is in the process of adapting the story for the big screen.
