News|London Hotel guests to enjoy new gadgets on London EyeAlready one of the most popular attractions among both tourists and Londoners alike, the South Bank ferris wheel offers stunning views over the capital, including over the River Thames to the Houses of Parliament. However, it could soon be even more popular still now that technology giant Samsung has announced plans to install its Galaxy Tabs into each of the wheel’s pods. The devices will help visitors learn about what they are looking at, for example by giving some background information on the landmarks they are able to see while riding the Eye. At present, the Tabs are in place in four of the capsules, with plans in place to have them fitted in all of them by May, ensuring that London hotel guests staying in the city over the springtime are able to get even more from their visit. The tallest Ferris wheel in the whole of Europe, the London Eye attracts around 3.5 million paying tourists each year.
