News|Dickens Unplugged comes to Comedy TheatreNew musical comedy Dickens Unplugged will be entertaining London hotel visitors from May 23rd. This show at the Comedy Theatre presents an inventive retelling of some of Dickens's most famous works, including Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist and A Tale of Two Cities. A talented cast of actor-musicians features in the show, which was brought to the stage by Adam Long, a founding member of the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Dickens Unplugged will follow The Lover and The Collection at the Comedy Theatre, a pair of Harold Pinter plays that will run until May 3rd. These two productions are funny, dark and moving at turns, looking at themes of sexuality, honesty, desire, jealousy and betrayal. The shows boast a range of recognisable faces, including Richard Coyle of popular TV sitcom Coupling, Charlie Cox, star of the film Stardust, and Gina McKee, who appeared in Atonement and Notting Hill.
